How To: Use eBay Autopay

Autopay, also called Immediate Payment, is used when you’d like your customer to pay at the time of purchase. As an example, if you were selling concert tickets or a similarly time-sensitive product, you'd want your customer to pay at the time of purchase to ensure that your listing stays up until it has been paid for. For more information, read eBay's guide on Understanding Immediate Payment.

Follow these steps to turn on Autopay by default for all your items:

1. Click on Settings > Channels, then expand the eBay Options section.

2. Scroll down to the Autopay toggle and set it to On. This will set all of your items for immediate required payment.

3. If you don’t wish to set this globally, you may set Autopay to true at the item level. In the Editor for an existing item, or while creating a new item, scroll down to the eBay section and set the Immediate Payment toggle to On. Or, if you have Autopay set to On by default and you'd like to turn it off for a particular item, you can set the Immediate Payment toggle to Off for that item while in the Editor.
